Routing TCP/IP Volume I ISBN: 1-57870-041-8 Cisco Press Errata 7th Printing Page 106 – The last two lines of the configuration following ‘To crate the floating static route, Piglet's route entries are as follows:’ should read: ip route 10.1.30.0 255.255.255.0 10.1.10.2 ip route 10.1.30.0 255.255.255.0 10.1.20.2 50 6th Printing Page 180 – Regarding the Table 4.3, In the first row (in which the Description begins with "(RA,RD,4) and (RA,RE,4) are both...", in the "Candidate" column, the entry "RD,RE,3" should have a line through it (note several other lined-out entries in the same column throughout Table 4.3). In the second row, in which the Description begins, "(RF,RE,1) is added to..." the Description should be changed to "(RA,RE,4) is added to...". . There is a dividing line missing between the second and third rows. That is between the row described above and the row with the Description beginning "(RC,RF,2) is added to..." In the fourth row, with the single entry of "RF,RH,4" in the "Candidate" column, there is a missing integer of 9 that should appear in the "Cost to Root" column. 1st Printing Page 222 - Regarding Figure 5-18, Change the bottom configuration of router ‘RTB’ from “192.168.2.97/27” to read “192.168.2.94”. Page 484 – Regarding Table 9.5, the column titled ‘3&4’ and the row titled ‘Stub’, the entry should be ‘No*’ Page 636 – Under the heading, ‘IP Interface Address CLV’, the second sentence should read, “Because the Length field is one octet, an interface of an IS-IS router can theoretically have up to 63 IP addresses”.
