RIP计时器的时间配置案例

1     案例配置拓扑

3     案例配置需求

1.     R1R2R3三台路由器运行RIP协议。

2.     只修改R1的计时器时间,并查看修改后能否能学习到R3的路由条目

3.     查看计时器时间修改前和修改后的对比。

4     案例配置思路

1)     先配置R1R2R3的接口地址,并配置RIP协议。

(config)#interface fastEthernet 0/0

(config-if)#ip address x.x.x.x x.x.x.x

(config)#router rip                        //开启RIP协议//

(config-router)#no auto-summary         //关闭自动汇总//

(config-router)#version 2                 //版本为2//

(config-router)#network x.x.x.x

2)     修改R1的计时器时间

(config)#router rip

(config-router)#timers basic 5 20 30 40    //修改计时器的时间,更新时间为5S、失效时间为20S、保持时间为30S、删除时间为40S//

5     案例检验结果

1)     在还没修改计时器下,查看路由器的计时器时间:

R1#show ip protocols

Routing Protocol is "rip"

  Outgoing ** filter list for all interfaces is not set

  Incoming ** filter list for all interfaces is not set

  Sending **s every 30 seconds, next due in 20 seconds

  Invalid after 180 seconds, hold down 180, flushed after 240

  Redistributing: rip

  Default version control: send version 1, receive any version

    Interface             Send  Recv  Triggered RIP  Key-chain

    FastEthernet0/0       1     1 2

  Automatic network summarization is not in effect

  Maximum path: 4

  Routing for Networks:

    192.168.12.0

  Routing Information Sources:

    Gateway         Distance      Last **

    192.168.12.2         120      00:00:11

  Distance: (default is 120)

/上面显示的计时器时间是更新时间为30S、失效时间为180S、保持时间为180S、删除时间为240S/

2)     查看R1的路由表是否有学习到R3的路由条目:

R1#show ip route

Codes: C - connected, S - static, R - RIP, M - mobile, B - BGP

       D - EIGRP, EX - EIGRP external, O - OSPF, IA - OSPF inter area

       N1 - OSPF NSSA external type 1, N2 - OSPF NSSA external type 2

       E1 - OSPF external type 1, E2 - OSPF external type 2

       i - IS-IS, su - IS-IS summary, L1 - IS-IS level-1, L2 - IS-IS level-2

       ia - IS-IS inter area, * - candidate default, U - per-user static route

       o - ODR, P - periodic downloaded static route

 

Gateway of last resort is not set

 

C    192.168.12.0/24 is directly connected, FastEthernet0/0

R    192.168.23.0/24 [120/1] via 192.168.12.2, 00:00:25, FastEthernet0/0

/上面显示的R表示学习到R3路由条目/

3)     开启debug ip rip来查看是否更新时间为30S

/上面显示的是每30S发送一次组播更新/

4)     R1中修改计时器时间后,查看R1路由器的计时器时间:

R1#show ip protocols

Routing Protocol is "rip"

  Outgoing ** filter list for all interfaces is not set

  Incoming ** filter list for all interfaces is not set

  Sending **s every 5 seconds, next due in 1 seconds

  Invalid after 20 seconds, hold down 30, flushed after 40

  Redistributing: rip

  Default version control: send version 1, receive any version

    FastEthernet0/0       1     1 2

/上面显示的是计时器时间改为更新时间为5S、失效时间为20S、保持时间为30S、删除时间为40S/

5)     查看R1修改计时器时间后,查看R1是否还能收到R3的路由条目:

R1#show ip route

7     案例总结及其它

1)     RIP的计时器默认时间是:更新时间为30S、失效时间为180S、保持时间为180S、删除时间为240S

2)     修改计时器的时间命令是在RIP进程下输入:timer basic 5 20 30 40 ,但在接口下也会自动生一条命令ip rip advertise 5

3)     R1R2的计时器时间不一样,不影响RIP邻居建立。
